I went to the Minnesota Timberwolves game vs. the L.A. Clippers with my family on Friday. It’s the first non-snowmobile related male-family-member get-together that I think we’ve ever had. My dad, uncle, both brothers, my grandpa, and my cousin were in attendance.
The highlight of the night was not the fact that the Wolves blew the doors off the Clippers, it was actually during a timeout. The camera man was scanning the crowd, showing different people who were supposed to dance for the jumbo-screen. It focused in a boy all of maybe 5 years old, wearing a packers jersey – he was boo’d ridiculously. It was probably a bit cruel and I don’t expect that kid will be dancing anytime soon; nonetheless, it was still very, very necessary.
