Timmy’s Hot Cross Buns

Some people are putting together a fund raising cookbook at work. A few of the creatives putting it together said if I didn’t submit a recipe, they would submit one for me. This is the recipe they threatened me with:

Timmy’s Hot Cross Buns

Ingredients:

<Ingredients removed, cause they weren’t funny>

Directions:

Place milk (best right from the cow’s teat), 3/8 cup water, egg (from the chicky-chick down the road), butter or margarine (usually churn my own butter), cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, bread flour, yeast, and raisins (you might get the toots if you add too many of these) in the pan of the bread machine. Select the Dough setting, and Start. Form into 15 rolls. Place into a greased 13×9 inch pan. Let rise for one hour (I usually do my knitting during this hour, or darn my socks). Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes. Make icing with confectioners’ sugar and 1 tablespoon water. Drizzle over buns in the shape of a heart for your special love.
