If I had a buffalo nickel for every time I heard the word survivor, I would be flippin’ rich. Like the owners of the Survivor domain name, Survivor Software. I understand that their hits increased from dozens per day to over 200,000 at one point during the season. As it turns out they gave an offer to ABC, but they were not interested. So they decided to look for advertisers that wanted to take advantage of the new found traffic. They found takers in outdoor gear and the like and now make more money selling ads on their web site then they do from their software. Oh the life of a domain squatter.
