After a 18 hour day, I’m ready to sleep. The production server, which is an old piece of shit, is being replaced but not for a few days so I have to get this oversized boat anchor running before the next shift comes in. When shift after shift of production folks are sent home and presses aren’t running because it takes the workhorse nearly 3 days to run a disk repair on the huge external raid array, you know it’s time to upgrade. Staying up until 3:00 am to work on a slow ass server with NT 4.0 service pack 3 and a boatload of domain and service problems was not what I had in mind when I came to work yesterday, but hey at least I’m salaried so I wont be getting any overtime. Sweet.

Update: Robert has a better description of the problem and history that he knows all to well. I’m sure he transfered from St. Cloud to St. Paul just to get away from The Bimmer.
