Ya damn right!
If you listen to writer Jerry Brewer, employed by the Orlando Sentinel to write day in and day out about Tracy McGrady and the Magic, there is only one clear MVP this season. And his nickname is not TMac.
‘Unless Bryant can get the Lakers to 50 victories, unless McGrady can get the Magic to 45, unless Jason Kidd can hit five open jumpers in a row and unless Tim Duncan can provide a good quote, then Garnett should be MVP,’ writes Brewer.

Jules Etienne says:
I think that Tracy Mcgrady and Kobe Bryant are too overrated. And I believe that If I would give anyone MVP title this year that person would be Paul Pierce from the Boston Celtics. The reason is because Mcgrady always crying to the media that he don’t have help but now the Orlando Magic have provide a lot of young veteran that should lead him toward the second round but instead they the worst team in the NBA. Kobe Bryant could have been in the same position but he’s around Shaquille O’neal the most dominated player in the NBA so he’s willing to shoot a lot a shot now that shaq is getting a lot of rebound. And by the way most of the time that shaq is injured with kobe leading the lakers always end up losing more than they win. But I believe that Paul Pierce is different and now that Antoine Walker end up playing for the Dallas Mavericks a lot of people thinking that the Boston Celtics might miss the Playoffs. But Pierce have prove them wrong and leading the Celtics to the Playoffs with a solid record something I think that Tracy Mcgrady and Kobe Bryant can’t do. And that’s why I think Paul Pierce should get the league Most Valuable Player instead of Kobe and Tracy Getting a shot at it in 2003-04 season
