This fall I was first invaded by the dreaded Asian Lady Beetle, and they were thoroughly conquered with the viper death liquid. Apparently all things of deadly home defense need to start with V – dig the v mousetraps. Now mother nature has sent in the second wave of attacks. As the weather turns more winter like, every rodent is trying to find a nice warm spot, including my garage and house. Signs of the invaders were prevalent in the garage, small piles of seeds scattered about; it’s only a matter of time before they get inside.
Last night I set out my first trap line. Four traps were set, three in the garage, and one in the house. The one in the house was empty, thank god, but I had couple of nibbles in the garage.
Skippy Super Chunk Peanut butter appears to be an effective bait.
Also, To protect my truck in storage from nasty buggers, I put dryer sheets around on the inside. It works.
