In my opinion, it’s not fair for those companies whose business model was to burn money to get all the capital and attention. Life isn’t fair, obviously, and things have a way of evening out. They’ve had their ride, now the survivors and the businessmen and the innovators will get their chance. The dot coms are realizing that the business principles learned over centuries exist for a reason, and no New Economy is going to change that overnight.
