At long last I’m no-longer a Grand Am (aka canned ham) driver – well after today I wont be. Last night I purchased a pickup that I’ve been talking about buying for years and will pick it up today. I had a guy “keeping an eye out” for me, but wasn’t going to get real serious until September – well that was the plan until the exact truck I was looking for (and then some) dropped in his lap. I got the call minutes after it arrived on the lot and I told him I’d race down after work to take a look. Seven feet into the test drive I was ready to buy it. More options, less miles, cleaner, and newer than I thought I would find in this price range. I’m happy. So now that I have a vehicle capable of hauling all the materials to finish my basement, I don’t have the money to buy them. I guess I’ll have to postpone some projects for a little while.

My car will be paid off in 12 days… woo! I wonder how long I’ll last before I need to snag a new car.
Time to accessorize: boat, camper, jet ski…
Ooohhh the accessories sound nice! You buy them, and I’ll keep ‘em at my place.
As for you MH, I give you about 13 days until you’re driving a bmw.
I’m off to pick it up!
