I’ve had a spot in my back out of place for a couple of weeks. I’ve tried everything to knock it loose, but to no avail. I finally got around to asking someone for help.

Now, my helper thinks she gives the greatest back-rubs in the world, but I beg to differ (if you watch Friends, she’s Monica). I was fearful of what would go down because if massaging is painful, what the hell would she do to me if I needed something cracked. My plan was to keep her T-Rex like claws away from my back, so I suggested she walk on me. Unfortunately, it still wouldn’t crack; so, without warning she switched to the bay watch chest pump, only it was on my back and she used her knuckles instead of her palms. Here’s the scene:

Me: Oooowwww, I don’t think that’s going to work.
Her: You wuss, this feels good. Besides, you don’t even know what a good back-rub is, just breathe out and let me crack it.
Me: (*making a fake cracking noise – CRACK*) Woooaaah, You did it. Thanks! All better.
Her: Here, now let me rub it out.
Me: Nooo noo, you’ve done enough (*cough damage*) already.

She still didn’t believe that her chiropractic assistance and “back-rub” was nothing more that an scoliosis inducing ass whoopin’. Well today I’ve got physical proof. I have two bruises on my back from her delicate women’s touch.

I just can’t understand how anyone would buy a cookbook anymore. A person can find a comparable recipe on Google before you can even get to the index page of a normal cookbook. When I perfom a search, I like to add the word best to the recipe name I’m looking for. The other day I found a salsa recipe by searching for best salsa recipe and it located a pair that I liked.

I mixed the two best results together and it made a great batch of salsa. Well, it was great at first… but I put too much garlic in so after a while, as the garlic soaked into the rest of the sauce, the salsa could produce breath with enough potency to power a small car — or Canada.

In what I’m sure was a pirating response to pressures from the music industry, Apple has issued a 4.0.1 update to iTunes that restricts streaming to the same subnet. This basically makes all the iTunes stream sharing websites obsolete with the new version.

Tonight, any road leading north of the Twin Cities will essentially be a parking lot. Everyone will be leaving town to head “Up-North” with boat and anchor in tow.

I’ll be the lone car heading into the cities. Do yourself a favor and leave your anchor behind. I’m going out tonight to meet some junior investment bankers.

The more I use NetNewsWire, the less I read sites without an RSS feed. So make sure you have an RSS feed, and you link to it from you main page. Also, if you have movable type, make sure the entire posts is in the feed, not just the excerpt as it is by default. Thank you.

There were two items that I was shooting for on ebay (the neon sign and bar setup headquarters). Both had attractive “Buy it Now” prices, but, I opted to bid on them instead. Which, as you I Bought it on ebay lovin’ fools know, removes the buy it now option. Both significantly blew past their buy it now prices (one tripled it, the other doubled it). Damn, I wanted this cooler too.
