My gradpa goes in for triple-bypass surgery next week, which is strange because his blood pressure and cholesterol are about the same as mine – and he’s 77. The Dr. said there is a 96% chance for a- successful surgery and that it will greatly prolong his life. Pretty much a no brainer, but still a little scary. My dad lost one of his best friends to “routine” heart sugery so I’m still understandably skittish.
Update: His surgery was pushed back to the 20th.
Where is he having it done?
Duluth is the plan, but that depends on his pre-surgery evaluation or something. It will most likely be Duluth.
