The new Apple slogan for the switch campaign should be "switch to a mac, and never use a confusing wizard again"

Apple's pricing doesn't seem so bad compared to REAL Software's.

Last week I spent $200 (of the company's money) to upgrade to REALbasic 4.0 Pro. Yesterday version 4.5 came out, the upgrade for that is $89. I don't feel so bad about buying a new QuickTime key for $29.
BTW, my e-mail redirector is $15 a year from pobox dot com -- I just give out the same address and point it to my current ISP e-mail address.

I was initially bummed that Apple was charging $129 for 10.2, then I remembered that they are not a charity and need to make money to satisfy their stock holders, of which I am one.
I probably will upgrade to 10.2, but I am uncertain as to when. 10.1 has been incredibly stable for me, unlike in the old pre-OS X days, so I have no compelling reason to upgrade.

There's a big difference between charging for a new OS (it's their business, they can charge what they want), and charging for email after inducing people to switch to it because they said it would be free. I am totally disgusted with Apple over this.
