It’s time for the St. Cloud Superman to have an arch nemesis. Anyone with a Lex Luthor costume and loads of free time is encouraged dress up and taunt him from across the street. Planing of evil world domination plots optional.

Disclaimer/Caution: I’ve also been informed that he lifts weights, is a construction worker, and was in wrestling and a football player in high school – so he’s most likely physically capable of kicking your ass. Remember, muscles and mental instability are a dangerous combination. If you get hurt it’s not my fault, and it probably isn’t the first time. If you’re crazy enough to try this, then you’ve most likely been mimicking every stunt you see on MTV’s Jackass. Lets not forget those underground home Wrestling tapes you’ve been filming – you crazy bastard.

The latest version of Macromedia’s Dreamweaver, dubbed Dreamweaver MX is a 68 MB download and a 12,000+ file install. That’s heavy, hope it’s good.

Update: I’m not the only one having problems with it.

The day has finally arrived when we get to swap out the piece of shit server (aka: BMW) for a new(er) one. On Sunday we synched 775,000 files with the new server, and the BMW shares points were disabled. So far, all embedded systems, users, and applications can access it correctly. (knock wood) Backups now occur at about 3 times the speed. The server reboots and services for Macintosh shares are available to our faithful Mac users in less than 30 minutes rather than 6 hours, give ‘er take. Production downtime, squashed. Backups and restores, fast. Parts available for server, yes. Life is good in the production world.

If you are from St. Cloud you have heard of the guy who dresses up in a Super Man costume and stands on the street corner. Now he has his own website, and you can date him. Lucky, lucky ladies.

If you are scared of the St. Cloud Superman, (I believe any females or small children should be) you can learn to defend yourself at American Street and Combat Fighting System, another local site.

A friend of mine has been looking for town homes with his fiancee. He found the perfect one but there was a problem. Apparently someone else had already put money down on it, but wasn’t positive they were going to take the home – on the fence so to speak. So he asks if $200 dollars would make the other check disappear, and the homeowner agreed. He’s in, but there’s one drawback: the people who’s check he suggested be torn up know where he lives. I expect they will see cherry bombs in their mailbox and flaming brown bag deliveries on moving day.

The always busy division street in St. Cloud was slowed even more by a car fire yesterday. I actually used my camera for once.

I just finished an interview with a column writer for some paper called The New York Times. The Caption Machine and I will see mention, albeit a small one, in a bi-weekly column. This is kind of fun.

Update: The article will be in the May 23 edition of The Times.
